It's a beautiful day in the Neighborhood

I don't have much to show you inside our house anymore, because it is almost all packed up. So I decided I would just show you around the neighborhood. Most days, it really is a beautiful day in the neighborhood. It's a very nice neighborhood, not the least bit exclusive though. There are no security guards or gated communities. There are no club houses or indoor swimming pools. There is an occasional creek or pond, but mainly there is just corn, soybeans, wildflowers, and the wide open prairie sky to admire. Many days, the beauty surrounding us takes my breath away. I hope you enjoy the drive.

  1. Hello, thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit. It's always nice to meet new friends and I am so enjoying this blogging. I have been blogging for a little over a yr. and while I am off in the summer I enjoy tag sales and repurposing, decorating and tinkering around in our yard as much as I can. I read back a ways into your blog. I love that you live on a prairie farm! We built a house on a three acer lot right on the outshirts of town, but would almost love to live a little out farther. I was just saying to my daughter yesterday, that if I believed in a life before this one, I proably lived as a farmers wife. My daughter spent the day with her boyfriend and his family in a alfalfa field bailing. She was dusty and tired. I enjoyed your pictures on your site. It looks similar to our rural areas here in Kansas. Well I will be back to visit soon as I will add you to my favs! Thanks for the visit!
