Cats are a blessing on the farm because they cut down on the rodents, plus they are just so darn cute! I love to pick up the kittens and cuddle them because it is like holding a tiny puff of fur with big, beautiful, blue eyes.
I even enjoy watching them make their mischief. They are constantly climbing into places they shouldn't be or wrestling with each other. The litter in these photos decided they should move from the barn into a storage shed so that they could be closer to the yard to play with dogs, and closer to the house with the people who snuggle you and give you kitty treats. Pretty smart kitties wouldn't you say!
Life just seems right when there are kittens on the farm.
I so enjoyed seeing your kitties. I can't be around them because of severe allergies, so I love pictures and video's.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and feel free to visit with me any time!☺
Oh, these babies are absolutely PRECIOUS!! I LOVE their beautiful blue eyes too! It seems like yesterday that mine was so little, and now he's a BIG boy!! (a big Mama's boy, my kids call him!) My kitty, "Tuffy" who we found abandoned while just a baby, is now 2 years old! I recently posted him staking a claim on a basket I had just bought!.. Now it is HIS basket, of course! ~tina
ReplyDeleteI must say this post went to my heart - I am such a lover of kitties, cats of any kind.

Your kittens are so cute. We also live on a farm and have given up trying to count how many cats/kittens we have. It seems there was a population explosion this spring and they are everywhere. If only someone could come up with a way for them to stay sweet little kittens forever.

What sweet little kitties! My grandmother always had kitties running around the farm and we loved them all!
ReplyDeleteThose are some smart kitties. We just left our kitty, thinking we would be gone overnight but it turned into 4 days! He was so happy to see us. He made MUCH mischief while we were gone and was a bit traumatized for a bit (thinking we were leaving again every time he is out of our sight) but he is calming down now after lots of loving snuggles. :) He looks much like the mama in one of your pics. Thanks for sharing these pics. I wish our kitty could get outside and play like that. He's an apartment kitty with a very large orange enemy just outside the window. lol
